- Multi-Tech modems with old firmware have problems connecting to modems
- that send reasonably long TRN signals at the start of phase 4 of a V.34
- connection. If you experience this with your Supra you can set bit 3 of S192
- (S192.3=1), this causes the Supra modem to send a short TRN signal at the
- start of phase 4. Multi-Tech modems with current firmware do not have this
- problem, so there is no need to set S192.3 when calling them.
